Adult Services : Integrated Program for Substance-Affected Women and Their Children

Our integrated program for substance-affected women and their children is a long-term residential treatment program for substance-abusing women that encourages mothers to maintain or reestablish bonds with their children. Children under age five can reside with their mothers, and children up to age 10 can have overnight visits. Day visits for all children are encouraged. Activities such as family-style meals, structured play activities and field trips support each mother's relationship with her children. The women are in substance abuse and relapse prevention groups daily, attend AA/NA meetings, evidence-based and gender-specific groups and perform supervised community service projects.
