Community Solutions Inc. held its 50th anniversary celebration gala at The Bond Ballroom in Hartford, Conn. on Friday, March 22, 2013. Guests enjoyed a speech that was both moving and enthusiastic, made by the Honorable Judge Steven Teske from Clayton, Georgia who was the keynote speaker for the evening. The evening's program also featured remarks from:
  • Hassan Eaton - a successful Adult Services client from Connecticut
  • Thomas Hooper - the town manager of Bloomfield, Connecticut
  • William Fiocchetta - CSI's Board of Director's President
  • Robert Pidgeon, CSI's CEO
Attendees had the chance to enter two different raffles throughout the evening. The first, awarded a bottle of wine to participants who purchased one of four CSI cookies that featured historical CSI logos and had a gold star on the back. The other raffle was for a set of CSI luggage and a "dream" vacation. Many enjoyed the cookies, that were imprinted with one of three CSI logos and CSI's very own Angela Johnson won the "Dream Vacation."

A timeline of events and program openings was put on display, along with original signs and photographs of past employees for guests to see. Each table displayed client quotes from an array of programs. The evening concluded with dancing until 11 o'clock to the music of local radio personality Mark the Shark.

After a night of reminiscing on the past and enjoying and congratulating the accomplishments of the present, guests wish CSI luck in the immediate future and for the next 50 years!

Since its founding more than 50 years ago as the first community corrections halfway house in New England, CSI has been at the leading edge of the industry. Today, CSI continues to provide evidence-based services in the areas of juvenile justice, child welfare, adult residential and intermediate sanctions with day reporting centers.

CSI has taken pride in our ability to respond to the needs of its clients by seeking government contracts and donations to support necessary community based programs.
