Client Art Adds Beauty to Stein House

Each client responds in their own way to their time in an adult residential reentry program. For Robert Washington, using his gifts and giving back to the people who helped him was his way of showing his gratitude. Robert has painted ever since a teacher recognized and encouraged his talent. During his stay at Stein House, Robert asked Program Director Amy Sheffield if he could paint and the idea to create art for the Stein House emerged. Robert completed five paintings, some specific to Stein House (including the backyard and a picture of a cat in the area) while others portray peaceful locations. The paintings add color and beauty to Stein House and leave a visual reminder that giving back is a response from which we can all benefit.
