International Community Corrections Association (ICCA) Selects Watkinson House to Serve as a Study Site

The Watkinson House has been chosen to serve as a study site for the National Institute of Corrections (NIC)/ International Community Corrections Association (ICCA) research project on the relative effectiveness of Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) performance-based and compliance-based contracts. The study supported by a Cooperative Agreement with the NIC, engages the collective resources of the United States Office of Probation and Pre-Trial Services (USPO) and ICCA operating through a 17-member Advisory Committee chaired by ICCA immediate Past President, Terry Marshall.

The Project invited 24 outstanding community programs to apply for selection as research sites, and the Advisory Committee ultimately chose nine programs for the study.
